FM23 silica sand is a specially processed and treated silica sand designed for use in sand filters for residential, commercial and industrial filtration applications.
With an effective size of > 2.3mm, uniformity coefficient of < 1.2, and true gravity of > 2.65, it provides superior filtration capabilities while also maintaining minimal silt content.
In addition to its filtration capabilities, FM23 silica sand boasts a high SiO2 purity range of 85% to 97%, making it resistant to chemicals and acids. Its hardness (MOH) rating of 7 and attrition loss rate of <1% contribute to its durability and longevity, reducing maintenance costs.
